Odoodem Guards: Columns of Three can help ease the task of template development in Joomla! 1.5 websites by providing a manageable interface in the administrator with a CSS driven module dedicated to managing a simple yet scalable grid for all of your content. Easily organize your html, modules, and components in one module position that can be styled and expanded upon. No more do you have to write conditionals testing whether or not a module is present on a page before generating a left, right or center column. You can even have different styles for different dynamically generated grid layouts. And use Columns of Three throughout your entire template (reducing clutter) by making copies and stacking them. Using Columns of Three can be a little tricky if you don't have a solid grasp of how it works, but it can increase the efficiency of template creation once you know how to use it. Please read the documentation before using.

Additional Features Include:

• You can nest one three column layout inside any of the three out columns allowing up to six columns.
• You can add your own HTML snippets inside of any of the columns.
• You can stack several positions, several custom HTML snippets, and the content area in one column.
• Layout is based on the best practices explored in Creating Liquid Layouts with Negative Margins an article written by Ryan Brill over three and half years ago and is still the foundation for all my CSS layouts.
