The article creator is a module which lets you create articles from front-end. The module simply creates a "new article" button on top of your sites(or any other position you like),when the button is pushed, a new article appears on the current page (the current category).No fuss,no mess.

A simple to use front-end article deleter for Joomla 1.5x
The article deleter is a module which lets you trash, archive or delete(completly remove) articles from front-end. The article deleter module shows all the article-titles on the current site in a list. The user can thereby chose from the list which articles are to be trashd, archived or removed.
